AppleCare+ Buy Up to One Year Later

Apple has now increased the length of time you can purchase AppleCare+ for your devices.

Previously, you could purchase AppleCare+ up to 60 days after purchase. Now you can purchase it up to one year later for hardware. This applies to customers in the US and Canada at this time.

I have always purchased AppleCare+ for my iPhone, iPad Pro, and Apple Watch. I decided not to purchase it for our AirPods or Apple Pencil. Make sure to read what qualifies and how damage is covered.
